Sandra Lloyd-Jones

Sandra Lloyd-Jones was born and raised in Bundaberg. For seven years she lived in Miriam Vale as the owner of a local general store. Following this, Sandra moved on to Gladstone to work in property management for LJ Hooker. After nineteen years in Gladstone, Sandra made her way to Brisbane and with twenty-seven years of experience in the industry, started work with Blocksidge & Ferguson. She has been with us for over ten years and has continuously pleased our customers. She says she got where she is today due to hard work and a love for helping others.

In her very rare spare time, Sandra enjoys dining out, movies and spending time with her daughter and son, who describe her as being compassionate, honest and reliable.

Lyn Lake

With over seven years of experience in property management, Lyn Lake can help you. Lyn was born in Auckland New Zealand but moved to Australia almost thirty years ago. She has had a range of jobs including office manager, book keeper, receptionist, short hand and Dictaphone typist, five years modelling and ran her own business. As well as this Lyn worked in the sales department of a real estate agent in Gladstone for 1 year. On top of her busy work, Lyn still finds time to support charities such as Surf Life Saving Australia, RSL and Endeavour Foundation.

Lyn has two sons and four grandchildren who say she is well known for her sense of humour and outgoing nature.

Mary Jordan

People who know Mary well would describe her as pleasant, hard working and a typical Aquarian. Mary was born in Kingaroy and raised in Goomeri, Australia. For many years Mary worked for both the Australian federal government and the Queensland state government, in fields such as the Bureau of Statistics and the Department of Forestry. Following this, Mary moved on to become an I.T. operator for a Queensland rubber company and a few years later moved to Canada. Here she also worked as an I.T. operator for a utility company and for Service Bureau. Finally, Mary returned to Australia and started work in a Real Estate office. Since then she has worked in commercial, residential and retail property management for almost 20 years.

On top of all her hard work, Mary still finds time to spend with her family and enjoy her hobbies which include reading, golf, movies and of course genealogy. She is also part of a book club group and says she purchases her books from various sources including Lifeline Bookfest.

Sharon Campbell

Sharon Campbell was born and raised in Brisbane and commenced her working career in the Reserve Bank of Australia where she was gained valuable experience in the areas of Human Resources, Economics, Lending, Short Term Money Market and Management, working directly for the Manager for Queensland as first female in this position. One of the highlights of her banking career was her involvement in the monthly Reserve Bank Board meetings where she had the opportunity to liaise with Brisbane's most prominent business and government identities.

Sharon had a sea-change in 1985 and moved to the Sunshine Coast where she worked in retail management for 7 years before beginning her Real Estate career in 1996. Launching the dynamic and successful boutique Real Estate agency, Zinc Properties Noosa as Principal/Licensee was one of Sharon's finest achievements and one of which she is intensely proud.

With her eldest child Cameron starting University in Brisbane, Sharon had her city-change and re-located to Brisbane where her daughter Stephanie completed her schooling and both children are currently working and completing their degrees.

"Coming back to Brisbane was coming home for me as my heart has always belonged here with a very wide circle of family and friends. I had watched Brisbane become one of the most livable cities in the world and I am delighted to again be part of that vibrancy. Real Estate is an extension of the constant pleasure of living here."

With her extensive experience in Residential Real Estate and marketing, Sharon joined Blocksidge & Ferguson Ltd in 2006 as Sales and Marketing Manager and is relishing the challenges of her position and the success that has come from her guidance.

Time management is has been crucial to Sharon's career, always ensuring that the bases are covered at home and at work as she places enormous value on both. Empathetic, dedicated, determined, caring and considerate are just a few of her many attributes. Sharon always goes that much further to ensure that client service is far beyond expectation.

Sharon loves movies and theatre, reading, cooking and entertaining and has learnt to play Bridge. She is currently learning to play golf which is quickly becoming a favourite but very limited indulgence at this stage in her life!

Sue Buchanan

Sue Buchanan grew up in Brisbane, started her career in retail sales where she has gained experience in managerial positions with an emphasis on human resources, financial management, marketing and sales.

Sue commenced her real estate career five years ago when she joined the Blocksidge and Ferguson Property management team where she had the opportunity to tap into the vast experience of two of Brisbane's most experienced managers, Sandra Lloyd-Jones and Lyn Lake.

Sue's ambition and love of real estate then saw her progress into the residential sales arena of the company where she has had the opportunity of in-house and external training programmes and has successfully completed and attained her full real estate licence.

Sue is now enjoying success from her hard work and dedication where her focused and reliable approach to her role ensures that her clients' interests are well looked after and her own goals are constantly being achieved.

Sue has gained a reputation for her warm-hearted and conscientious approach and loyalty to her clients which has translated into a growing number of happy clients. Sue enjoys listening to music in her spare time.
