Sharon Campbell was born and raised in Brisbane and commenced her working career in the Reserve Bank of Australia where she was gained valuable experience in the areas of Human Resources, Economics, Lending, Short Term Money Market and Management, working directly for the Manager for Queensland as first female in this position. One of the highlights of her banking career was her involvement in the monthly Reserve Bank Board meetings where she had the opportunity to liaise with Brisbane's most prominent business and government identities.
Sharon had a sea-change in 1985 and moved to the Sunshine Coast where she worked in retail management for 7 years before beginning her Real Estate career in 1996. Launching the dynamic and successful boutique Real Estate agency, Zinc Properties Noosa as Principal/Licensee was one of Sharon's finest achievements and one of which she is intensely proud.
With her eldest child Cameron starting University in Brisbane, Sharon had her city-change and re-located to Brisbane where her daughter Stephanie completed her schooling and both children are currently working and completing their degrees.
"Coming back to Brisbane was coming home for me as my heart has always belonged here with a very wide circle of family and friends. I had watched Brisbane become one of the most livable cities in the world and I am delighted to again be part of that vibrancy. Real Estate is an extension of the constant pleasure of living here."
With her extensive experience in Residential Real Estate and marketing, Sharon joined Blocksidge & Ferguson Ltd in 2006 as Sales and Marketing Manager and is relishing the challenges of her position and the success that has come from her guidance.
Time management is has been crucial to Sharon's career, always ensuring that the bases are covered at home and at work as she places enormous value on both. Empathetic, dedicated, determined, caring and considerate are just a few of her many attributes. Sharon always goes that much further to ensure that client service is far beyond expectation.
Sharon loves movies and theatre, reading, cooking and entertaining and has learnt to play Bridge. She is currently learning to play golf which is quickly becoming a favourite but very limited indulgence at this stage in her life!
